This is what Doutzen Kroes wore at the "Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty" Costume Institute Gala held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 2, 2011 in New York City.
Doutzen Kroes wore a large scarlet ball gown by Giambattista Valli for the Met Gala. The gown's full skirt had a unique Swiss dot texture which contrasted nicely with the solid, minimalist bodice. She temed up the dramatic red gown which had a textured dotted train with a simple up-do and make-up.
I think she looks lovely in the voluminous red gown. For me it's a hit!
