This is what Rihanna wore at the "Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty" Costume Institute Gala held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 2, 2011 in New York City.
Rihanna wore a one-shoulder sequinned rose Stella McCartney gown with strappy black platform sandals at the Met Costume Gala.
From the front, the singer's dress appeared rather conservative with just a subtle hint of skin on show. But as she turned around, Rihanna revealed a daring slit up the side of the dress, held together with sheer mesh.
She teamed up the lacy number with long, red braided hair swept across her shoulder. She completed her gothic-glam look with deep purple lips, shimmering silver shadow and emerald green earrings.
